First, keeping our house spotless and leaving at a moment's notice for house showings - I am in awe of anyone who can keep their house like this on a regular basis! Even though we like to keep our house picked up, and Hayden is pretty tidy for a 3 yr old, it was stressful trying to keep our house "show-worthy" every day before leaving the house to run an errand, particularly after having Beckham and having a few extra things to pick up every day.
As we got closer to moving, there was no way we could keep showing our house. We had to prep for packing day, which meant going through each room and item in our house and organizing it into "SEA", "AIR" or "STORAGE." Our house soon transformed into piles, each labeled with their destination, because the packers come in once and pack everything. Inventorying ALL our belongings was a massive job too. We had to list out each room, its contents, where it was going and its value. Definitely a much more complicated move than any or our prior moves. It took them 5 days to pack and load all our stuff.
Thankfully, we had a nice crew. Still, it was a little difficult to try and take care of Beckham and have a little privacy, while 6 men were scattered throughout the house and packing up any comfortable seating (which as you can see, Hayden enjoyed!)

Before we left, we had a chance to see some of our dear friends. Thanks to OZO Play Cafe for a great location for our friends and their kids to enjoy and thanks to Floured Apron for delicious cupcakes!
And thanks to our AMAZING friends for taking the time to stop by. We will miss you all!!
